Somewhere, a storm has just passed. The light comes back, meets the water still hanging in the air, and breaks open into every colour it was quietly carrying the whole time.

That is the whole idea.

Rainbeau is not a print. It is what happens when linen sits for days in cochineal, sappanwood, eucalyptus leaf, pine needle tea, and whatever else the season offered that week. The colour is not applied to the cloth. It is absorbed by it. Which is why no two pieces have ever come out the same, and why they never will.

And it belongs to everyone. If you grew up with Diwali, you already know this colour. If you are from Oaxaca, you have seen it your whole life in the mantas, in the embroidery, in the weave your grandmother knew by heart. In the Andes it is carried as a flag. Somewhere else it is a wedding, a harvest, a season turning. The same colours, arriving through a different door, saying the same thing.

Celebration after the storm. It is a very old human agreement.

What surprises people is how quietly it wears. This is not loud colour. It is layered colour, closer to a tapestry than a statement, and it moves with whatever else you have on. Which is how a single piece ends up going to a wedding, a DJ set, and the school run in the same week.

Ten women can order the same piece. Ten different stories arrive. More cochineal in one batch, more eucalyptus in the next. Snowflakes, all of it.
