Nidra Button-Down Linen Set

The Nidra Button-Down Linen Set is a women's linen set made from 100% French linen, handmade in Bali by the same artisan families Myrah has worked with since the beginning. A longer button-down top falls over wide-leg shorts with a silhouette that is more structured and refined than most linen sets.

This is not a mass-produced coordinated set. The Rainbeau colorway is botanically hand-dyed over seven days. The Yin Yang colorway is hand-stitched, not printed, each symbol placed by one pair of hands in one arrangement that will never be repeated exactly across any two pieces.

Certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100, the linen is free from harmful substances through every stage of production. Lighter colorways (Off White, Clay) also carry European Flax certification, meaning the flax was grown in Western Europe without irrigation, GMOs, or waste.

Colorways

Available in Rainbeau (botanically hand-dyed over 7 days, each run varies slightly), Off White, Black Dark Moon, Clay, and Yin Yang (hand-stitched, placement varies between pieces). The Yin Yang set is priced at $274. Botanical colorways vary between runs.

Sizing

Available in SM and ML. The Nidra runs slightly more tailored than the Suka set. If you are between sizes, size up.

Common questions

How is this different from a standard linen matching set?

The Nidra has a longer, structured button-down top that gives it a more refined silhouette than most cropped or boxy linen tops. It is made from 100% French linen in small batches in Bali, not produced at scale. The Rainbeau colorway is botanically hand-dyed over 7 days, not printed.

Can I buy the top without the shorts?

Yes. The Nidra button-down top is available as a standalone item. The wide-leg shorts are only sold as part of the full set.

Is it good for travel?

Yes. Linen packs well and releases wrinkles naturally. The neutral colorways (Off White, Clay, Black) travel easily, and the 2-piece format lets you wear the pieces separately with other items you bring.

How long does shipping take?

The Nidra is made in small batches in Bali. Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to shipment, then 5 to 15 business days with DHL. This is not fast fashion, and the timeline reflects that.

Before you order

How is the Nidra different from the Suka?

The Nidra is the more tailored of the two. The button-down top is longer and more structured, and it balances over wide-leg shorts. If you are between sizes, size up. If you want something looser and more oversized, the Suka is the one.

Will the Rainbeau colourway match the photograph?

It will be in the same family of colour, never identical. Rainbeau is dyed by hand over seven days, and every run arranges itself differently. The Yin Yang is hand-stitched, so each symbol sits in its own place too.

How long will it take to arrive?

It leaves Bali 3 to 6 weeks after you order, then travels 5 to 15 business days with DHL, tracked. We write to you while it is being made, and you get tracking the day it ships.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold and hang to dry, out of harsh sun. Wash it on its own for the first two washes while the botanical dye settles. The linen is stonewashed before it reaches you, so it has already done most of its shrinking, and it softens with every wash after that.

Can I exchange it if the fit is not right?

Yes, as an exchange. You have 10 days from delivery to send it back unworn, unwashed and with its tags, and we issue store credit toward the piece that is right. We do not offer cash refunds. If you are unsure before ordering, write to support@myrahpenaloza.com with your bust, waist, hip and height and we will tell you honestly.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
