No. You may have seen it called a deal breaker, or even a divorce aspect. I want to be honest with you about that. When researchers have tested astrology against real data, it has not held up. One study looked at more than ten million marriages in England and Wales and found that Sun signs made no difference to who married whom. Nobody has shown that any single aspect ends a marriage.

What a chart can do is name a pattern so the two of you can talk about it. Astrologers have long counted Venus and Mars contacts, including the square, among the signs of lasting desire. The work of this aspect is simple to say. Give the heat somewhere to go that is not an argument. Here is what I would offer.

Friday belongs to Venus. Give each other one hour on Friday that is about pleasure and nothing else. No phones, no plans to discuss. Dress for each other, not for a restaurant. Let the Venus person set the pace of that hour.

Tuesday belongs to Mars. Do something physical together on Tuesday. Walk fast, swim, dance in the kitchen. Let the Mars person choose it. Mars that has moved is much easier to sit beside.
