Slow, ethical and sustainable production
For every order you make, we give back to Bali
The Oracle Playsuit is a wide leg linen playsuit in Moon Milk, cut from 100% stone washed linen and hand stitched in Bali. It is the first release from the Oracle Collection, and it is what the Kundalini Playsuit grew into.
An oracle does not speak first. She listens, and the room goes quiet around her. That is the whole design, held in cloth.
The neckline is where the refinement lives. High, clean, drawn from Japanese tailoring, where restraint is the ornament and the space left empty does as much work as the line itself. Then the ruffles arrive, soft and unhurried, the one place the garment allows itself a sigh. A string tie at the side lets you decide how near it sits, loose through a slow morning, drawn in when you want the waist named. From there the leg falls wide, and the whole thing moves the way water moves, without hurry and without announcement.
Moon Milk is the color of milk left out under a full moon. Not white. Warmer than white, lit faintly from inside, the shade that makes skin look like it has been somewhere warm.
It is hand stitched by the artisan families who have made for this house since the beginning, each of them paid a real living wage, never a factory garment. The linen is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100, tested for harmful substances from fiber through finished garment, and European Flax certified, sourced from sustainably grown flax in Western Europe. It is stone washed before it reaches you, so it is already soft in your hands, and it softens again every time you wash it.
You will know if this one is yours. She is the woman who stopped explaining herself and found the room leaned in anyway.
There is now a matching layer. The Oracle Jacket is cut from the same Moon Milk linen to the same neckline, waist length, long sleeve, button front. Worn over the playsuit it closes the silhouette into something you could walk into a meeting in, then comes off at the door. Choose "Playsuit + Jacket" above and the pair arrives together at a set price, or buy the jacket on its own.
What makes it different
- Japanese inspired neckline, refined and high, restraint as the ornament
- Soft ruffle detailing, one indulgence against a disciplined line
- String tie at the side, so the waist is yours to name or leave alone
- Wide leg silhouette, the drape that made the Kundalini a best seller
- Deep side pockets, actually functional
- 100% stone washed linen, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and European Flax certified
- Hand stitched in Bali, never a factory garment
- Matching jacket available, as a set option above or on its own
Sizing
Available in S/M and M/L. The wide leg cut is drawn to move freely across a range of body shapes, and the string tie at the side gives you the last word on the waist.
The honest note
Linen creases. That is the fiber telling the truth about itself, and a night on a hanger settles most of it. Made in small batches, so when a size is gone it may be gone for a season.
Your Oracle Playsuit leaves Bali three to six weeks after you order, then travels 5 to 15 business days with DHL. That is the time it takes for the piece to be finished, checked and wrapped by hand in Bali. It is the pace of the making, not a delay.
Common questions
What is a linen playsuit?
A one piece garment, top and trousers cut as a single thing. The Oracle Playsuit has a full length wide leg, so it drapes like a jumpsuit while keeping the ease of a playsuit.
How does it compare to the Kundalini Playsuit?
Same wide leg ease, same linen, same hands. The Oracle refines the neckline, adds ruffle detailing and a string tie at the side, and comes in the Moon Milk colorway. If the Kundalini is the piece you reach for without thinking, the Oracle is the one you choose on purpose.
Can I add the jacket?
Yes. Choose "Playsuit + Jacket" in the Style option above and the set ships together at a price that comes in under the two pieces bought separately. The Oracle Jacket is also sold on its own. Both pieces come in the same S/M and M/L, so choose the size you take in the playsuit.
How long does it take to ship?
Three to six weeks from the day you order, then 5 to 15 business days with DHL. Each piece is finished by hand in Bali before it leaves us.
Is the linen certified?
Yes. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, tested for harmful substances from fiber through finished garment, and European Flax certified, sourced from sustainably grown flax in Western Europe.
Can I wear it to a wedding?
Yes. The refined neckline and wide leg drape read as polished rather than casual. Sandals and gold for a garden or beach event, or bare feet if the ceremony calls for it. The Oracle Jacket over the top takes it into a cooler evening.
How do I care for it?
Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, hang to dry out of direct sun. Stone washed linen does not need pressing unless you want it. Every wash makes it softer.

Exchanges and Cancellations
If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
Not sure of your size? Write to us before you order at support@myrahpenaloza.com. Five minutes now saves a piece travelling back to Bali or to our returns warehouse in the US.
