The Architect and the Artisan: How Astrology Built This Brand

People ask me all the time how Robindra and I work together. How we build a brand together, raise a family together, create together, disagree together, and somehow come out the other side with something more beautiful than either of us could have made alone.

The honest answer is that I don't fully understand it either. But our birth charts do.

He sees the mountain. I see the stone.

Robindra is a Capricorn. Sun, Mercury, and Mars all in Capricorn, all sitting in his 7th house — the house of partnership. If you know anything about astrology, you know that's not a coincidence. It means he was literally designed to channel his ambition, his drive, his vision through another person. He doesn't build alone. He builds with.

I'm a Virgo. Sun, Mercury, and Ascendant all in Virgo. My whole system is wired for refinement, for precision, for making sure that every single detail is exactly right before it leaves our hands and enters yours.

He dreams it. I perfect it. He says "what if we..." and I say "yes, but only if we do it this way."

We've been calling it the architect and the artisan for years. We didn't know until recently that it was written in our stars all along.

There's a placement in Robindra's chart — Jupiter in Taurus, retrograde — that speaks directly to how we grow. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, and luck. In Taurus, it expands through the earth. Slowly. Steadily. Through things you can touch and feel and hold. Retrograde means that expansion turns inward first. It builds roots before it builds branches.

That Jupiter forms a beautiful trine — a flowing, harmonious connection — with my Virgo placements. Which means when we grow together, it doesn't look like scaling up, hiring fast, or cutting corners to move quicker. It looks like deepening what we already have. Making fewer things, but making them better. Reaching fewer people, but reaching the right ones.

We brought those worlds to Bali, where that same understanding lives in everything — in the offerings at the temple, in the blessing before the first stitch, in the way a family treats their workspace as sacred ground.
