The Ramie Botanical Origami Gown is the piece for the woman who has everything she needs from linen and is ready for something that carries a different frequency, a fabric with more weight, more structure, and a drape that moves with a gravity linen never quite reaches.
A full-length gown in 100% botanical-dyed Ramie, with the Origami sleeve, wide, dramatic, folded at the arm the way Japanese origami folds paper: not as decoration but as structural intention. Available in Uluwatu Sunset and Golden Sunset botanical dyes, each hand-applied in small batches in Bali. Your gown will carry its own variation of the colorway — no two are identical. Ramie is more structured than linen and softens dramatically with the first few washes. We suggest washing before wearing if you prefer an immediately fluid drape. The botanical dye will deepen and shift with time, this is not fading but the dye continuing to live. It will be more beautiful in a year than it is today.

once shipped, typical delivery is 5 to 15 business days depending on your location and local customs clearance. we make no guarantee on exact delivery dates.
every order includes complimentary tracking. use 17track.net or dhl's tracking by shipper's reference to follow your parcel. once your shipping notification arrives, contact dhl directly for all delivery enquiries.
duty & customs
duty fees, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer and are paid directly to dhl at the time of delivery. dhl will contact you by text message with the amount due and instructions on how to pay.
checked and correct as of september 2026. customs rules changed more than once in 2025 and 2026, so we date this rather than leave it sitting here quietly going out of date.
united states. the $800 duty-free de minimis exemption was suspended in august 2025 and remains suspended. parcels that used to arrive with nothing to pay are now subject to duty, so expect a dhl charge on most orders.
united kingdom. vat applies to imported goods. customs duty relief below £135 still applies for now, though it is scheduled to be removed by march 2029.
european union. vat applies to all imports. the €150 duty exemption is being phased out, with a small per item customs charge introduced in july 2026 on parcels below that value.
australia and new zealand. gst applies to imported goods, and duty applies above a higher value threshold. your carrier confirms the exact figure.
the rate itself depends on the fibre, how the garment is constructed and the trade arrangement in force between your country and indonesia. both have moved more than once since 2025, so we are not going to print a percentage that will be stale before you read it. dhl gives you the exact number.
if duty is refused and dhl returns your order to us, we will gladly re-ship, however a re-shipping fee will apply, at the standard shipping rate for your zone.

every zone ships standard with dhl tracking, 5 to 15 business days. free shipping worldwide on orders over $350 usd. below that, one flat rate per zone. no weight tiers, no surprises at checkout.
our asia zone covers singapore, hong kong, japan, south korea, malaysia, thailand, vietnam, the philippines, taiwan, china, india, sri lanka, cambodia, laos, brunei and macau. our uk and europe zone covers the united kingdom, the european union, switzerland, norway, iceland and the smaller european states. everywhere else, including the middle east, africa, latin america and the caribbean, ships at the rest of world rate. the exact figure for your address always appears at checkout before you confirm.

What we accept
for exchange.
We accept exchanges on items that arrive back to us in the same condition they left Bali. Unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, with original tags attached, within their original packaging.
All exchanges are issued as store credit. We do not offer cash refunds.
Your item must beWe reserve the right to decline exchanges on items that arrive outside the 10-day window, in a condition different from how they were received, or on parcels that incur duty fees.
Something arrived
that isn't right.
We are genuinely sorry. This is rare, and we take it seriously. If your order arrived damaged, defective, or is not the item you ordered, please reach out immediately.
Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 10 days of receipt. We will resolve it promptly — always. This is not a situation where you will have to fight for a resolution. You will have one.

Need to change
your order?
Email us as soon as possible. We can action changes and cancellations within 24 hours of your order being placed.
After that window, our artisan team will have already begun work on your piece. Because every garment is made by hand specifically for you, changes may no longer be possible once production has started. We will always tell you honestly what is and isn't possible.

your exchange.

In the body of your email, tell us which item you are exchanging and what you would like in return — a different size, a different colourway, or store credit to use when you are ready.
Our team will respond within 48 hours with your return instructions, the address to send your item back to, and confirmation of your store credit once the item is received.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover all return costs.
These items are
not eligible for exchange.
Because of the nature of how these pieces are made or sold, exchanges are not possible on the following.
Pieces made specifically for you to your measurements, specifications, or as a bespoke request. Because these were created for you uniquely, they cannot be exchanged.
Items bought using store credit from a previous exchange are final sale and cannot be exchanged again.
Items received as part of a prior exchange are final sale. Each item may only be exchanged once.
Items purchased at a discounted or sale price are final sale. Please check sizing carefully before purchasing sale pieces.

10 days from the date you receive your order. Please do not wait — the sooner you reach out, the faster and easier the process will be for everyone. If you are close to the 10-day window, email us immediately even if you are not fully decided. We can hold the conversation open.
We do not offer cash refunds. All exchanges are issued as store credit with no expiry. Your credit will be there whenever you are ready to use it — on any piece in our current collection, including new arrivals.
Yes, size exchanges are the most common reason people reach out and we handle them warmly. Start the exchange process by emailing us, let us know the size issue, and we will guide you to the right fit. If the size you need is not currently available, we will issue store credit for you to use when it is. If you are unsure about sizing before you order, please email us first — we know our pieces well and are happy to help you choose.
Return shipping for standard exchanges is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping method — we are not able to process exchanges for items that do not arrive back to us. If your item arrived damaged or incorrect, we will cover the full cost of return shipping. Email us and we will arrange it.
We aim to process your store credit within 2–3 business days of receiving your returned item back in Bali. We will email you to confirm when your credit has been issued. Because replacement pieces are made to order, production of a new piece typically takes 14 to 28 days from confirmation, plus 10 to 14 days for botanically dyed pieces — we will give you a clear timeline when we confirm your exchange.
