Sleepless Full Moon? 5 Ways to Stay Grounded during powerful full moon days

On nights where the full moon keeps you up all night, it’s tempting to write off the following day. Here are five things that genuinely help.

1. Get dressed.

One of the most powerful ways to pick yourself up is to get dressed as if you are going somewhere that matters. On these days I put on something from my collection that immediately makes me feel productive and present. You will find that once you have your favourite clothing on, you have the energy to make the day an impactful one.

2. Affirmative mantras.

Keep your mind focused on affirmative mantras, even if you choose to take the day slow. I intend to feel good. I intend to heal. I attract success and abundance into my life because I am abundance. These will keep your energy moving in the right direction until you eventually catch up on sleep. Do not let the inner voice take on a pity party. It is only one night, and you have absolutely got this.

3. Stay rooted with the Prosperity Mantra.

On powerful full moon days, I play the Bahuta Karam, the 25th Pauri of Japji. A wonderful mantra to clear the subconscious and set you up for success. Listen here. Play it all day, very quietly in the background. See what happens.

4. Do something creative.

Especially if you don’t feel like it. As strange as it sounds, the delirious post-full-moon state is often where the most interesting creative breakthroughs happen. The mind doesn’t have its usual controls on you today. Use this space. Sit over some tea and write. Dream out loud.

5. Magnesium.

This common mineral not only helps you fall asleep but helps you enjoy deeper, more restful sleep. I have been using it for over a month and my sleep has been deeply improved. The brand I love is Thorne, available on Amazon.

With love from Bali,
Myrah
