Modern Day Talismans, The Power Of Inspiring Friendships
I met Nikki Jacoby at the Spirit Weavers gathering in 2015. Our trading blankets laid out side by side in the California sun, her artisan goods alongside mine. I remember glancing over and then literally not being able to look away. Her heirloom hair pins had a quality I couldn’t name yet. I just knew I had to have one.

She was with child and graciously declined my offer of trade, so I returned from that trip and ordered my first hair pin. Said goodbye to hair ties. Never looked back.
What I had fallen in love with was not just the object. It was the vibration of it. The sense that this piece was actual technology. That is the method behind Nikki Jacoby’s work: teasing the nectar out of metal. Bringing it to life. Creating an emotion you can wear.

Her collections range from big brass door knocker earrings to heirloom hair combs and modern day talismans. Jewellery has always been deeply personal for her. She received her grandmother’s collection before she passed, along with the stories of each piece, and that inheritance set the foundation for her understanding of what adornments can hold. Her goal is to create a little bit of personal history. A story that captures a moment in time. Something of high quality that will last to pass on to the next generation, or the friend who needs it most.
Together, we created the Adi Shakti Mystic Floral Heirloom Hair Comb. A true technology for the Aquarian age.
"These combs embody Adi Shakti — primal first power and divine mother energy. Light and dark. Power and grace. Tenderness and fierceness. The true essence of who we are as women."
The sharpness of the swords represents the feminine standing in her power. The softness of the petals in bloom represents what that power holds. In the centre, Nikki placed the symbol of infinity transformed into the sun, for sweet Soleil. A reminder that our children are our divining rod. They show us the way and provide constant inspiration to be our best and highest selves.

These combs are like little mini crowns. The metals work as tools to remind us of our sovereignty. I bow to Nikki for creating just that. And I bow to the friendship that made it possible. Because that is the real talisman here. The women who show up. Who see us. Who make things alongside us that neither of us could have made alone.
As a woman in business today it is more important than ever to support each other in every way possible. To lift each other up so we can rise together. Connecting and working with other conscious women is one of the most powerful things I do.
A Piece for This Threshold
Aphrodite’s Treasure Necklace
Indian Ocean shells shaped and set entirely by hand over approximately three weeks. No two are alike. The kind of piece that carries the energy of how it was made, and communicates that before you have said a word. Sacred adornment for the woman who wears her practice.
