The Virgo Moon Kaftan is made from bamboo rayon, stonewashed before it reaches you and finished by hand. I chose it over linen for this piece on purpose.

Bamboo rayon drapes with more fluidity than linen. It falls close to the body without clinging, moves when you move, and stays cool against the skin in the heat. It does not crease the way linen does, which is why women pack this kaftan for every trip and wear it straight out of the bag.

The woman who wears it is not thinking about the fabric. That is the point. It asks nothing of her, for as many hours as she is in it.
