The first Virgo Kaftan was made from standard linen. Then Myrah found this crinkle linen-cotton blend and understood immediately what she had been trying to say all along. Crinkle doesn't mean casual. It means alive. Run your hand across it and you can feel the difference — texture that has personality, fabric that moves before you do.

A kaftan cut from a crinkle-textured linen and cotton blend that moves the way water moves — restlessly, beautifully, and entirely on its own terms. Made by hand in Bali from a fabric that requires no ironing, improves with every wear, and drapes differently in the morning than it does in the evening. This is the kaftan for movement. For the woman who walks somewhere with intention. For the afternoon that becomes an evening without asking permission. The crinkle says: this is not a piece you keep perfect. This is a piece you live in.

The crinkle texture will look more pronounced in photographs than in person. On the body, it drapes and softens. We always suggest wearing before forming an opinion — the movement of it tells a different story than the photograph.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
