La Majia. The magic. The name is the most honest thing we could say, so we said it.
This is a made-to-order linen kaftan with more architectural intention than the Virgo Moon — wider sleeves, deeper drape, a silhouette that holds the memory of Mexican and Balinese ceremonial dress at the same time. The fabric arrives stonewashed, already soft, already broken in the way linen needs to be broken in before it becomes itself. It is made individually, specifically for you, in the weeks after you place your order. No one else's piece is yours.
Available in Nat Flax, Harvest Moon, Moonlight, and Dark Moon Black. Made to order; please allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to shipment, then 5 to 15 business days with DHL. 100% French linen. Changes cannot be made after 24 hours of ordering, so please read the sizing guide carefully before you commit.
La Majia arrives and you sit with it for a moment before you put it on. You can feel that something happened in the making — in the weight of it, in the way the fabric has already learned to drape. That is not a metaphor. That is the intention of the woman who designed it and the family who made it, still present in the cloth, still working.

Because the La Majia is made to order, it is not eligible for return — only exchange. This is the honest trade of slow fashion: more care given, more care in receiving it.

Shipping
Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order.
Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end.
Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over.
Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.
Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Exchanges and Cancellations
If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
