Not all ceremony happens in linen. Some of it happens at 11pm, in the softest thing you own, when the day is finally done and you are finally alone with yourself. The Butterfly Tunic knows this. It was made for that hour.

A relaxed cotton knit tunic with butterfly sleeves — wide, soft, billowing at the arm and falling to a gentle hem. Made from a natural cotton knit that moves like something between a sweater and a shirt and is entirely neither. Handmade in Bali. The Off White colorway is the lightest, creamiest expression of natural cotton — minimally processed, as close to the fabric's origin as it can be.

Available in Off White and Light Flax. Also available as a set with matching pants. Natural cotton knit. Machine cold gentle cycle, lay flat to dry. This is the tunic for the in-between hours. For the morning practice before the day begins. For the evening that deserves softness. For the body that has been in a meeting all day and needs permission to exhale. The Butterfly is that permission.

Natural cotton knit will soften with each wash and develop a gentle patina over time. This is the natural life of minimally processed cotton. We consider it aging rather than fading. It becomes more itself.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
