Ramie Botanical Origami Gown

Made from the nettle plant. Similar in strength to linen. Softer than it sounds. The Ramie Botanical Origami Gown is the piece for the woman who has everything she needs from linen and is ready for something that carries a different frequency, a fabric with more weight, more structure, and a drape that moves with a gravity linen never quite reaches.

A full-length gown in 100% botanical-dyed Ramie, with the Origami sleeve, wide, dramatic, folded at the arm the way Japanese origami folds paper: not as decoration but as structural intention. Available in Matcha, Uluwatu Sunset, and Golden Sunset botanical dyes, each hand-applied in small batches in Bali, and in Black Dark Moon. Your gown will carry its own variation of the colorway. Ramie is more structured than linen and softens dramatically with the first few washes. We suggest washing before wearing if you prefer an immediately fluid drape. The botanical dye will deepen and shift with time. This is not fading but the dye continuing to live. It will be more beautiful in a year than it is today.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
