For years, the brand has lived at the intersection of three cultures, Myrah's Mexican roots, her husband Robindra's Indian heritage, the Balinese hands that bring everything to life. But this is the first time I have reached all the way back into my own childhood and pulled something forward into the collection.
The La Flora Set is inspired by the folk art of my father's village in Mexico. A tradition that has no gallery, no museum, no institution behind it just women, and thread, and flowers, and time. Blooms stitched onto cloth as a way of saying: we were here. We believed in beauty. We passed this on.
Flora, in Roman mythology, is the goddess of flowering things. Of spring. Of the moment the earth remembers it is alive. Her festival, the Floralia, was a celebration of abundance and color and the return of warmth after a long cold.
That is what this set is. A return. A celebration. An opening.
The Making
Each piece is hand-embroidered by one of the Balinese artisan families who have been making this brand with us since the beginning. Morning glories in deep blue, roses in soft pink, gold sunbursts, emerald vines, stitched one thread at a time onto 100% natural French linen. The top is ruffle-layered with wide straps and a soft elastic gather that sits easy on the shoulder. The shorts are high-waisted and relaxed, with generous pockets. Both pieces are made after you order them, for you.
The Practical Truth
100% natural French linen. Hand-embroidered florals — no two sets are identical. Sold as a matching two-piece. Machine cold, hang dry. Do not iron directly over the embroidery; use the reverse side or a pressing cloth. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to shipment, then 5 to 15 business days with DHL.

For the woman who knows that where she comes from is not something to leave behind. It is something to bring forward, slowly, in her own time, in her own way.
The Honest Note
Because every set is embroidered by hand, the floral placement shifts slightly between pieces. Thread colors read differently in sunlight than in photographs. Small irregularities are not errors — they are the signature of something real. Your set will be its own. It was made to be.
Small batch. After the first set of 10 are sold it is going to be Made to order. This is the first of what we hope is a much longer conversation with where we come from.

Shipping
Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order.
Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end.
Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over.
Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.
Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Exchanges and Cancellations
If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
