This one moves like breath. The shirt sits loose through the shoulders, unhurried, with room to lift your arms without asking the fabric's permission. The pant falls wide from an elastic waist, the kind of fullness that makes walking feel like a small ceremony. Bubble cotton carries its own quiet texture against the skin, soft, slightly raised, never stiff. It doesn't announce itself. It just settles, the way stillness does when you finally stop performing it.

The Making

Handcrafted by our artisan families in Bali, cut and sewn in their own homes and in small workshops they own themselves, never a factory. The fabric is 100% natural bubble cotton, its gentle puckered weave carrying the same quiet imperfection you would find in a well-used tea cloth, no two weaves identical. Mother-of-pearl buttons close the shirt front. A single patch pocket sits at the chest, small, useful, unfussy.

The Practical Truth

After we sell our first 10, this piece will be Made to Order in small batches, available in S/M or M/L. Lead time reflects real hands working at a human pace, not a factory line, so please allow the time we quote at checkout. The fit is oversized by design. If you sit between sizes, size down for a closer drape or up for more room to move. Hand wash cold or gentle machine cycle, lay flat to dry, cool iron only if needed.

The Honest Note

Natural fiber dyeing and hand-weaving mean gentle variation in texture and tone from piece to piece. This is not a flaw, it is the fingerprint of the hands that made it. Small batch, so once a size sells through, it may take another cycle to return.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
