Brida Linen Gown Long

Slow, ethical and sustainable production
For every order you make, we give back to Bali
Brida means bride in some languages. Not the performance of a wedding — the feeling of one. The moment when something says yes to something else. This gown was made for that feeling in ordinary life.
A full-length French linen gown with a silhouette that is simultaneously architectural and completely fluid — wide sleeves, long body, a neckline that opens at the front in a gentle V. Made by hand in Bali from 100% French linen, in small batches. Your piece is made to order, specifically for you, in the weeks after you place it.
Available in multiple colorways. 100% French linen. Cold wash, hang dry. Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to shipment, then 5 to 15 business days with DHL. The Brida runs long and full — please read the sizing guide carefully, especially for length.
Wear the Brida to something that deserves it. Or wear it to the Tuesday that didn’t earn it yet. Sometimes the most powerful thing is to bring ceremony to the ordinary. That is what this gown does. That is why it has that name.
The Brida carries a longer lead time than most of our pieces — please plan accordingly if you have a specific date in mind. It is one of our most requested pieces for ceremonies, weddings, and retreats. If you need it by a specific date, contact us before ordering.

Shipping
Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order.
Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end.
Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over.
Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.
Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Exchanges and Cancellations
If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
Not sure of your size? Write to us before you order at support@myrahpenaloza.com. Five minutes now saves a piece travelling back to Bali or to our returns warehouse in the US.
