Scorpio Full Moon May 2026: The 11:11 Portal and What Your Body Already Knew
I want to share something with you before we talk about the stars.
This week, my body told me something it had been keeping quiet for a while. I'd been feeling it — a sudden drop in energy, something shifting underneath the surface that I couldn't name. So I went to our doctor here in Bali, had some tests done, and found out I have an early case of Hashimoto's.
I've navigated this before. And the moment the diagnosis landed, something in me exhaled rather than contracted. Because now I could see it. From my incredible doctor team here, I have a 21-day healing practice I'm moving through: a nutrition program, Japanese acupuncture, all woven through with Kundalini yoga. The path is clear.
That is exactly what Scorpio does.
It doesn't destroy. It reveals. It takes what has been living in the dark, in the body, in the bloodstream, in the places you hadn't thought to look, and brings it forward into the light. Not to frighten you. To show you the way through.
Scorpio gave me back the path to feeling like myself again.
If you have Hashimoto's, or have healed from it and come out the other side, I genuinely want to hear your story. This is exactly the kind of thing we hold together.
The 11:11 Scorpio Full Moon: what makes this one rare
On May 1st, the Full Moon rises at 11° Scorpio, with the Sun at 11° Taurus. Both at 11. May 1st. Six ones in total — what astrologers are calling the 1111 portal, opening on the 11-11, in a universal year that reduces to one.
This is genuinely rare. And it is not here to unsettle you. It is here to show you what is ready to be seen.
Scorpio rules the unseen — the truth living beneath the surface of your relationships, your body, your energy, your power. Whatever has been quietly accumulating, whatever you have been sensing without words for it, this Full Moon brings it forward. Not to overwhelm you. To free you.
The Finger of God: a rare configuration pointing at your heart
There is something in this chart that astrologers rarely see — a configuration called a Finger of God. Venus and Saturn, both at exactly 9°, pointing directly at the Moon in Scorpio.
Venus is love, beauty, the pleasure of being alive. Saturn is destiny, timing, the moment that was always going to arrive. And they are both pointing at your heart saying: it is time.
Nine is the number of release. Of letting go so completely that nothing needs to be held anymore. Of unconditional love, which is only possible once you stop carrying what was never yours to carry.
Chiron conjunct Mercury: the healer meets the messenger
Chiron, the sacred healer, is conjunct Mercury right now. The healer meets the messenger. Words that transform. The diagnosis that becomes the gift. The thing your body finally said out loud.
Your nervous system already knew. This Full Moon just gave it language.
And then there is Taurus
The Sun has been holding steady in Taurus through all of this Aries fire, all of this acceleration, all of this becoming. And Taurus — the earth, the body, the garden, the unhurried pleasure of simply being alive in skin — is already whispering what comes after revelation.
Restoration.
Let the Full Moon do its work. Let what needs to surface, surface. Let what needs to leave, leave. And then let Taurus receive you back into your body, into your pleasure, into your life.
How to work with this Full Moon
Spend time in stillness on Friday evening — not doing, just receiving. Ask your body what it has been trying to tell you. Write without editing. Release one thing you have been carrying that is not yours. Let beauty be your medicine this weekend.
The most productive thing you can do right now is rest. The stars agree.
With love from Bali,
Myrah
A Piece for This Threshold
The Scorpio Full Moon asks you to be honest about what you're carrying. Taurus answers with the body, with softness, with beauty, with ceremony. I have watched women put on the Virgo Moon Kaftan and visibly change. Not perform. Change. Something in the shoulders releases. Something behind the eyes settles. It is the kind of garment that simply reminds you of who you already are.
