Cloth you can see light through.

Sheer chiffon and sheer silk, cut into gowns, wrap dresses and two-piece sets. These are not delicate in the way the word usually means. They are deliberate. Sheer fabric asks you to decide what you are willing to show and then commit to the decision, and there is something clarifying in that.

Wear them with nothing beneath and let the cloth do what it does. Wear them layered over a slip. Both are correct.
