The Monaya is our full length playsuit in stone washed linen, offered in Moonlight and Dark Moon. A ruffle finishes each ankle cuff, a small detail of play against an otherwise clean, elegant line. Cut oversized and relaxed by intention, it is the piece we reach for when one day needs to hold several versions of the woman living it.

The Making

Handcrafted in Bali by our artisan families, in a stone washed linen that arrives already softened, already lived in. The stone wash is not a finish sprayed on for looks. The fabric is washed with actual stone, again and again, until it settles into a texture that only gets better with time. No two washes fade in quite the same way. Certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, so what touches your skin is free from harmful substances, no exceptions.

The silhouette is full length with a relaxed, oversized leg and a ruffled cuff at each ankle, the kind of detail that catches when you move and settles when you don't.

The Practical Truth

Available now in two colorways, Moonlight and Dark Moon, ready to ship, no wait required. Offered in S/M and M/L, cut oversized, so if you prefer a closer fit, consider sizing down. Our model is 5'7" and wears the S/M. Machine cold, hang dry. Stone washed linen only continues to soften with wear.

The Invitation

For the woman who refuses to be one thing today. Wear it to the gym and home again. Roll onto your mat in it. Wear it exactly as it is to dinner tonight, no changing required, no second outfit packed. The Monaya was made for the woman whose day does not fit into one category, and neither does she.

The Honest Note

Because the linen is stone washed rather than dyed to a flat finish, you may notice subtle variation in tone and softness from piece to piece. This is the wash doing its work, not a flaw in it.

Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order. 

Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end. 

Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.

Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over. 

Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.

Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.

Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
