Starting 2026 with a Full Moon (here's why that's powerful) and why I'm EXCITED

I am on day 10 at the Ashram with my family and it's been such a beautiful way to end the year. The past year has been challenging and heartbreaking beyond words.

The good news is the Year of the Snake is ending very soon...mid-February.

This gives us a little more time to integrate and release what needs to be let go of.

So when the clock strikes 12 tomorrow for New Year's, know that you have time to put the year to rest and set the stage for an incredible Year of the Fire Horse ahead.

Let's dive in.

Why Starting 2026 with a Full Moon is Powerful...

Most years, we start with a new moon (new beginnings energy).

But 2026? We're starting with a FULL MOON.

Full moons are about release, completion, and letting go.

The universe is saying: "Before you begin fresh, release what 2025 taught you to let go of."

This is a gift, not a setback.

The Cancer Full Moon - January 3rd:

This full moon happens at 13° Cancer. The divine feminine number.

Cancer rules:: Home and family, Emotional security, Belonging and nurturing, Your inner world.

Your New Year's Practice

December 31st: Set intentions, but hold them lightly. You're still in release mode.

January 1st-2nd: Rest. Integrate. Let your nervous system adjust.

January 3rd (Full Moon): Do your release ritual. Write what you're letting go of right now. Burn it. Then write what you're calling in for 2026.

The Timeline That Matters:

Now to Mid-February: Final Snake year shedding. Integration time.

February 17th: Fire Horse year begins. Speed and momentum arrive.

You have 6 weeks to complete your release work.

Don't rush it. The Fire Horse will move fast enough. Use this time to get clear.

Why This Matters for Your Nervous System:

Your nervous system needs time to feel safe with change.

Starting 2026 with a full moon gives you that time.
