Creamos esta pieza como una ofrenda, no solo una prenda.
El vestido Amma lleva el nombre de una de las formas de poder más silenciosas del mundo, una mujer cuyo trabajo de vida ha sido crear un espacio para quien lo necesitara, sin condiciones. A menudo usaba algo como esto cuando era joven, un frente cruzado que se abre suavemente en el corazón en lugar de protegerlo. Construimos el vestido con esa misma intención, una abertura en el pecho que no pide nada y no cubre nada que no quiera ser visto.
Esta no es una pieza que tengas que convertirte en otra persona para usar. Te la pones y algo en tu postura se recuerda a sí mismo.
Cada vestido Amma que sale de Bali lleva las manos que lo hicieron. Crepé de rayón de bambú, cortado y acabado por una de nuestras familias artesanas, en una pequeña partida que no se repetirá una vez que se agote. Esto no es escasez por sí misma. Es lo que sucede cuando una pieza se hace lo suficientemente lento como para ser bien hecha.
Úsala acurrucada en casa. Úsala para una cena importante. Úsala en el umbral de tu propia ceremonia tranquila, sea lo que sea que eso signifique esta temporada.

Cuidado: Lavar a mano o a máquina en frío, solo. Colgar o tender para secar. Manipular con cuidado. No lavar en seco.

Shipping
Everything we make is handmade in Bali by our artisan families, in small batches and to order.
Whether your piece is waiting in the studio or cut for you after you order, it is finished, checked and packed by hand, so allow 3 to 6 weeks before dispatch, with botanically dyed pieces toward the longer end.
Once your order leaves Bali, transit is 5 to 15 business days, and tracking reaches your inbox within 5 days of dispatch.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders of $350 USD and over.
Below that, one flat rate by region: $14.99 to the United States. $15 to Canada, Mexico and Asia. $18 to Australia and New Zealand. $25 to the UK and Europe. $32 everywhere else. Free within Indonesia.
Duties and taxes are collected on arrival. Since August 2025, most US orders carry a DHL duty charge, and VAT or GST applies in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Exchanges and Cancellations
If a piece arrives and the fit is not right, or it arrives damaged, you have 10 days from delivery to exchange it. We issue store credit rather than cash refunds, and the piece needs to come back unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags attached. Return shipping is yours unless the piece arrived damaged or incorrect.
Pieces customised for you (made to your measurements, in a custom colour or altered to your request) are final sale, because they were cut for you and cannot belong to anyone else. Sale items, anything bought with a discount code of 25% or more, and anything bought with store credit are also final sale. Made-to-order pieces in our standard sizes and colourways can be exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them.
