Since this is a very new release we only have a very small batch of these in stock so we are releasing these with a pre-order notice as these will be sent approx 10 days after your order until we have more in stock.  If you purchase other products with the clogs, we will delay the shipment of the other pieces until the clogs are ready for you. 

Yin Yang Clog

The Yin Yang clog is handmade with leather sourced from small tanneries in West Java, Indonesia & hand carved wood from East Java, Indonesia.  Hand carved Wood for the sole is made in a very small batch way to ensure artistic quality. 

All materials used to produce our footwear supports small local suppliers and the shoes are manufactured in a little family run workshop in Bali, Indonesia. The design was inspired by the oh so beautiful yin yang & a love for 70s style. These fun, funky clogs make every outfit come to life!

Care Instructions

All of our footwear is made with hand-dyed leather and hand carved wood, so slight differences in colours and textures is completely normal. A natural conditioner/wax can always be used to spruce them up a bit once they begin to age, but these beauties should all look even better with age.

ps. because all of our shoes are handmade by human beings out of natural materials they will sometimes have minor, beautiful flaws.

Yin / Yang 

Two halves that together complete wholeness. Yin and yang are also the starting point for change. When something is whole, by definition, it’s unchanging and complete. So when you split something into two halves – yin/yang, it upsets the equilibrium of wholeness. Both halves are chasing after each other as they seek a new balance with each other.

The word Yin comes out to mean “shady side” and Yang “sunny side”.

Yin Yang is the concept of duality forming a whole. We encounter examples of Yin and Yang every day. As examples: night (Yin) and day (Yang), female (Yin) and male (Yang). Over thousands of years, quite a bit has been sorted and grouped under various Yin Yang classification systems.

Duty

At this time the majority of styles are shipped from Bali. Duty, if applicable, is the customer’s responsibility and will be paid directly to the carrier. 

DHL will contact you via text message to inform you of the amount due and how to pay. If duty has not been pre-paid, DHL will refuse to deliver and your order will be shipped back to us. If this happens, we will gladly re-ship your order to you; however a re-shipping fee of $22USD will apply.

Processing Time

We receive a high volume of community communications, which we love! So, we kindly ask that you email our customer support team only if you have an urgent shipping inquiry or if we have surpassed the timeframe outlined below.

All orders will be prepared for shipping within 14-28 days of order.

Tracking information will be sent to you via email within 5 days after your order has shipped.

Once shipped, typical delivery time can range from 5-15 business days depending on the ship-to address and other variables.

To be eligible for an exchange, items must be in the original packaging, including; any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other signature packaging materials.

At this time, purchases are eligible for store credit only.

*Myrahpenaloza.com reserves the right to reject exchanges that are sent or communicated outside of the exchange period limit; items which are not in the same condition in which they were received; or exchange parcels that incur duty.

How do I set up an exchange?

Please forward your confirmation email to support@myrahpenaloza.com with the subject "Start an Exchange" and your order number in the subject line. Please include the item you are exchanging in the body of the email.

How long do I have to make an exchange?

All exchanges must be made within 10 days of receipt. Please, make sure your items are returned new, unused and with all garment tags still attached.  

I received a damaged item, what should I do?

We're so sorry to hear your order arrived in less than perfect condition! In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please forward your confirmation email to support@myrahpenaloza.com with the subject "Start an Exchange" and your order number in the subject line.

Damaged items must be reported within 10 days of receipt. 

MODIFICATIONS / CANCELLATIONS

If you have made an error in your order, or wish to cancel, please email support@myrahpenaloza.com within 24 hours so we can inform our team of the requested changes. We are not able to oblige modification / cancellation requests made outside of the 24 hour time frame.

Obsessed!

Just received my clogs and they are AMAZING!! SUper great quality and so comfortable. Definitely the best shoe purchase that I have made in a while. 10/10 highly recommend. :)
