This Bag features beautiful carefully selected hand dyed vintage Indigo Batiks used on the front exterior pocket. Each Batik is unique in shape, color and pattern, so you will be wearing a one of a kind bag. Keep in mind, because these are vintage textiles they may have some wear, but each pocket is lined with wax canvas to ensure durability. The wear and uniqueness of these batiks are why we love them.

Each bag has a hand waxed cotton canvas exterior, and is lined with cream unwaxed cotton canvas. It has 2 waxed canvas pockets on the interior of the bag. The leather has been hand dyed using premium Italian Veg Tan Leather and an oil-based dye that softens the leather. It will age beautifully as you use your bag, and develop its own patina.

It's made out of a 10oz canvas (approx 14oz after waxing) with Solid Brass Hardware. Complemented Premium Italian Veg Tan leather that will patina with use, giving your bag a look that is uniquely yours. Per true Field Work Fashion, all corners and pressure points have been double stitched, to ensure durability. It has solid brass buckles and snaps.

The canvas is hand waxed using our in-house recipe consisting of beeswax, paraffin wax, and linseed oil as well as lavender essential oils. Making the canvas stronger, and water resistant. It will also wear and develop a beautiful patina that is unique to the way you use it.

We send all packages with tracked shipping so our overseas shipping is a little pricey we know but the price is based on our experience sending these packages out which are a little larger as well.


All orders are shipped within 72 hours of purchase if the product is already in stock. Each item depending on where you live takes 5-10 business days. If you live in Canada, it is usually 3-5 business days, if you are in the United States 5-6 business days, if you are in Europe or beyond 10-15 business days. We send all orders with tracked shipping, and you will receive a shipping confirmation from us.

Where does my order ship from?

Most of our orders ship from our office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We also ship some products from Los Angeles California. 

When will my order ship?

All in stock shipments go out on the following Sunday or Wednesday from your order. If you require expedited shipping, your order will leave within 72hrs, unless you request overnight shipping which will ship on the following day.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Delivery times depend on the type of delivery selected and where you are shipping to.

-  Standard shipping: In 5-7 business days (US), 3-5 business days (CAD), 10-15 business days (Rest of the world)
-  Expedited shipping: In 3-5 business days (US), 2-3 business days (CAD), 5-10 business days (Rest of the world)
-  Overnight shipping: In 1—2 business days (US), 1 business days (CAD), 3-5 business days (rest of the world).

Please note our delivery time starts from the moment an order begins processing and includes a 24 - 48 hour period where your items will be packed and shipped from our warehouse. This can take slightly longer during a sale. Inclement weather conditions and international customs are also not factored into delivery time and may cause delays.

We are pleased to accept timely exchanges of unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged items with original tags on the product within 10 days from the date you received your order.

If 10 days have gone by since the date you received your order, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a exchange. To make sure that your order is eligible for a exchange, check our full policy below.

To be eligible for a exchange, your items must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other signature packaging materials.

How do I set up a return?

Please note that we do not accept returns on any orders for any reason. All purchases are FINAL SALE however we do accept exchanges for any in-stock products in our collection.

How long do I have to make an exchange?

All exchanges must be made within 10 days of receipt. Please, make sure your items are returned new, unused and with all garment tags still attached. reserves the right to reject returns that are sent or communicated outside of the return period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.

I received a damaged item, what should I do?

We're so sorry to hear your order arrived in less than perfect condition! In the unlikely event that you have received an item that is damaged or incorrect, please email us to "Start a Exchange" 

Damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receipt. 


We ship to most international destinations. Please note that international orders cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. 


Orders cannot be modified after they have been submitted after 48hrs from the order. If you do make an error please email us within 48 hours so we can inform our team and shipping warehouse know of any requested changes.
